Nothing has been made official at this point, but various sources are reporting that Big Brother Mzansi might be very well a thing.

The popular reality television series, which aired two seasons under the title Big Brother South Africa between 2001 and 2002, and returned with its far more popular spin-offs Big Brother Mzansi in 2014 and 2015, is set to be prepping the announcement for a brand new season.

According to one source, the show is looking to start with the audition process as of, well, now. M-Net has yet to confirm anything around the return of Big Brother Mzansi, but the streets are talking in advanced speculations.

Another source has claimed that Lungile Radu would be returning as the show’s host for the coming season. There will be tweaks on the show, and the prize money will be R2 million! What’s more, the show could be premiering sometime before the end of 2021.

The previous season of the show, Big Brother Mzansi: Double Trouble, aired in 2015. Couple Ace Khumalo and Ntombi Tshabalala won the season. Blue Mbombo and K2 were the show’s runner-ups. It’s how Blue’s career started.
