The Grammys 2021 – Where to Watch the Live Show in SA

The 63rd annual Grammy Awards will be taking place this coming Sunday, March 14th across various locations throughout Los Angeles.

Although award shows have largely seen a massive decline in ratings, with the recent Golden Globes clocking bringing in their lowest numbers to date, the buzz around the Grammys is very much still a thing.

Well for one, this year we will also be tuning in to see how our very own Trevor Noah will be executing his hosting duties. The comedian will be piloting the show for the first time this year, and he never missed a beat. We are also curious to see how they will be holding down the show across several locations as they must observe the social distancing rules.

The show will be screening in real-time in South Africa on 1Magic on DStv channel 103 at 3:00 in the morning. Those of us who won’t be sitting up waiting for the Grammy in the wee hours of the morning will be able to catch the repeat on the channel at 8:30 the next day on Monday.

The Academy has revealed the line-up to the delight of music fans, as this year’s who features a mix of the biggest acts from various genres.

The names include Bad Bunny, Black Pumas, Cardi B, BTS, Brandi Carlile, DaBaby, Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, Mickey Guyton, HAIM, Brittany Howard, Miranda Lambert, Lil Baby, Dua Lipa, Chris Martin, John Mayer, Megan Thee Stallion, Maren Morris, Post Malone, Roddy Ricch, Harry Styles, and Taylor Swift.
