‘Expresso”s Ryle De Morny Drops 5 Summer Body Goal Tips!
That’s how he keeps that bod!
Published
3 months agoon

Not only is he the fitness guru on Mzansi’s feel-good breakfast show, Expresso, but Ryle De Morny is also a Lifesaving World Champions and holds the title of ‘The Fastest Man On Sand’ after winning wo gold medals at the world championships for beach sprinting.
Every morning, Ryle wakes up viewers with a healthy dose of exercise but if you’re only a beginner, these exercises may seem daunting. So, Ryle has some tips to get you moving so you can reach your summer body goals in no time!
Define Your Goals And Know Your WHY
Before you even begin to start your fitness journey, ask yourself why you are embarking on this change of lifestyle. “This can be anything from looking better, feeling healthier, having the ability to just play outdoors with your kids or maybe it’s to make the cover of a fitness magazine,” Ryle says. “This is the time for you to create your vision board. There will be testing times ahead and you will be challenged, but you will conquer everything put in front of you if your why truly is strong enough.”
Track Your Progress
Tracking your progress is an important part of staying motivated and also helps you see just how far you have come. “Its important to measure ourselves before we start our journey,” Ryle says. “This will not only give you your starting point but, more so, allow an accurate ability to track your progress.”
Ryle adds that one should not just use the scale to weigh oneself as this isn’t always a true reflection of one’s progress. When training, one’s weight could remain consistent however, a loss of fat and picking up muscle could be the reason. “Instead, include circumference measurements of your body parts too such as your arm, chest, waist, thigh and calf and take some pictures so that you can see in detail what parts of your body are changing and adapting to your training.”
Consistency Is Key
If you’re looking for a quick fix or a short cut, unfortunately, you’re going to be disappointed. “Your health should be a part of your lifestyle so start with finding an exercise that you can enjoy. “Any movement is better than none and it’s important to remain consistent when embarking on a fitness journey. So, whether its dance, yoga, functional training or any other discipline, make sure you enjoy it to the point that it becomes a part of your system rather than a task.”
Fuel For Purpose
As you progress in your journey you may find that your mood, energy or habits start to change and, with that, your body does too. Your body may also start craving certain foods to replenish and even get stronger. “It’s important to ensure that you are maintaining a good macro balance at the very least in order to fuel your body correctly,” Ryle explains.
“You want to have the energy to put the work in and make it count. The correct combination of exercise and training combined are facets of health that can have truly incredible effects if done correctly. Although it may seem overwhelming, balance in this department can amplify the effects or goals of your training so much more.”
Appreciate Your Blessings
Remember, just being able to start a fitness journey is a blessing in itself and the process is set to be one incredible journey of discovery. “This truly is an opportunity to build up a connection and relationship with your body.
No matter what anyone says, you are absolutely beautiful and as your body continues to change, learn to appreciate every little milestone you achieve along the way,” Ryle says. “Listen and seek advice wherever you can and always remember to enjoy every beautiful moment of your new fitness journey. The possibilities are truly endless and by putting in the hard work, incredible results are sure to follow.”

Jan 19, 2021
I’m hunting down some good fat bomb recipes for a yummy treat while bingeing on all the James Bond movies through the decades. While fans of the iconic action thriller franchise wait for the looming 007 No Time To Die movie with Daniel Craig, M-Net Movies is bringing back the 007 James Bond pop-up channel.
Following the success of this pop up in early 2020, the channel is once more casting its spotlight on the suave, debonair, and dapper dressed secret service agent James Bond.
This time, however, the thrilling pop-up channel on DStv channel 111 will not only be open to DStv Premium subscribers but also DStv Compact Plus and Compact subscribers for the first time, starting from Friday, 22 January 2021, until Sunday, 31 January 2021.
This will allow for a vast number of DStv subscribers, consisting of diehard Bond fans as well as new, young 007 admirers, to indulge themselves, from 10:00 until midnight, in the ultimate James Bond experience. It includes the dapper tuxedos, fast cars, sultry bond girls, exotic locations, mind-blowing gadgets, deadly villains, and martinis, which are served shaken, not stirred, of course.
The ten-days Bond film marathon, featuring the charming actors who have played the iconic 007 role, from Pierce Brosnan to Sean Connery, Roger Moore, and current Bond Daniel Craig, will showcase iconic films from the 007 film franchise.
The movies will be screened chronologically, starting with the first film in the series released 59 years ago, Dr. No (1962), to the latest Bond film and box office hit, Spectre (2015).
Viewers can watch this pop-up channel from any device at any time. All the films that will be screened as part of the pop-up channel will also be available on DStv Catch Up until Sunday, 28 February 2021.
In addition, DStv Family and Access subscribers can also access the pop-up channel through the DStv Add Movies offering, which is an add-on service that will also give viewers access to blockbuster movie channels M-Net Movies 1 (DStv channel 104), M-Net Movies 2 (DStv channel 106), and fliekNet (DStv channel 149).

The Prophet almost Exposed Ntokozo’s Dark Secret!
Mbongeni’s spirit jumped out.
Published
2 days agoon
Jan 19, 2021
We now know that there’s a spirit of a dead man hovering around Gladys and Melusi’s troubled teenage son, whose outbursts have been leaving a lot to be desired lately. Hella creepy, but also a worthy detour in how this storyline could have played out.
While most of Ntokozo’s issues are likely psychological, as he battles with feelings of abandonment and detachment from his parents, Monday’s episode of Gomora threw in the extra spice of spirituality to make the situation that much more complicated.
Ntokozo has felt for a while that he is invisible.
For years he’s felt suffocated by the expectations placed on him by his overachieving, upstanding parents. Melusi Dlamini being the beloved High School Principal at Gomora Secondary, and Gladys the devoted social worker transforming the lives of the youth in the township.
Every one gets to be saved by Gladys, except her son.
Ntokozo has had it, and he’s acting out. And just to confirm the perception he now has of his parents as being weirdly cold and distant while showering Teddy with affection, both Mel and Gladiator simply can’t figure out that they’ve contributed to their son’s juvenile misdemeanor.
No, it’s Mazet’s toxic influence. It’s because he’s rude, entitled, and bratty. Oh, it’s also just a passing stage. They’ve considered every possibility but the role of their own failure to provide a nurturing and loving environment.
MORE ‘GOMORA’: HOW LANGA BECAME TEDDY’S NINJA
In their latest attempt, aunty Gcina, Melusi’s older sister, was called in to intervene. Although harsh on Ntokozo, she was quick to pick up Ntokozo’s abandonment and chastised the parents for neglecting him while pampering Teddy with heartwarming displays of love and support.
(The aunty also hinted that she’s aware Langa is Melusi’s son, so that tea could be getting spilled soon!)
Gcina brought in a prophet, and the prophet, in a shocking twist, picked up a dead man’s spirit haunting Ntokzin! It’s Mbongeni’s ghost, who he killed during that botched hijacking disaster.
We are going to need the aunty to stay and get all these skeletons out in the open. Dig out every single one.
Gomora airs on Mzansi Magic, channel 161, weekdays at 19:30.
