uThando Nes’thembu Season 4 Loading on Mzansi Magic

uThando Nes’thembu back by popular demand!

On Saturday, we saw the return of uThando Nes’thembu in its fourth season but it was not on Mzansi Magic. The new season aired on the sister channel 1Magic, with many fans of the show resigned to waiting for the repeat of the first episode on DSTV Compact channel 161.

The reality show returns to document Musa Mseleku’s polygamous relationships with his four wives. Through his journey, the show also highlights his balancing act of being a businessman, doting father to his children and available partner in his relationships.

In the last season, we saw Mseleku rock the boat looking for acceptance of another wife or girlfriend. Although it took a while for the wives to foster a respectful relationship amongst each other, an additional member to the family is not something that will be tolerated.

With season 3 ending with Mseleku’s traditional IsiZulu wedding to MaYeni, the plan was to have multiple wedding ceremonies for each of his wives that showcased their personalities. This season picks up from the process of finalising the remaining ceremonies.

Some of the highlights from last season include Musa going out of his way to put a smile on his wives’ faces and buying them brand new Mercedes Benz vehicles. Additionally, we got to see his parenting skills come to the fore, marshalling his son’s coming of age while trying to mend fences with his eldest daughter, Sne.

Snippets of what to expect in this season show that Musa remains determined to grow his family by any means. In the third season, he was met with mixed emotions on his request. While MaYeni and MaCele were adamant that they would pack their belongings and ship out while the MaKhumalo and MaNgwabe remained neutral to the idea.

Strap on for an entertaining rollercoaster ride of a season as we follow Mseleku and his wives try to manage their different personalities in hopes of making their polygamous marriage work.

Catch the first episode of uThando Nes’Thembu season 4 which premieres on Mzansi Magic DStv Channel 161 this Thursday, 17 September 2020, at 20:00.
