Lindiwe Ends Mondli Over Njabulo’s Mess – ‘The River’

Imagine your mother pulling gangster moves to get you back with the ex. *Spoilers Alert*

It was only a matter of time before Lindiwe returned to her old ways of dealing mercilessly with foes who threatened the peace of her family.

And while one might ask; ‘Is there ever peace in that mansion?’, we can all appreciate that as cunning, cold and ruthless as Madlabantu can be, she always puts her family above everything.

So when she witnessed her beloved son Andile battle to cope with the sudden breakup between him and his off-again on-again fiancé Njabulo, her protective instincts kicked into top gear.

She wasn’t about to lay low on the sidelines while Njabulo broke her son’s heart and move on blissfully with cute boy Mondli. NOT, especially, when the new couple was on her payroll!

The River August 2020

Unwilling to listen to Zolani’s advice for her to chill and allow Andile to cope with things in his own way, Lindiwe took over the reins in the most overbearing way, ever. She forced Njabulo to come to a couple’s therapy session with Andile, despite them no longer being a couple. Hectic, but even that wasn’t enough.

She then insisted to be present for the counseling session, against the psychologist’s advice.

Failing on her promise to be quiet as the former couple attempt to unpack their issues, she ended up chasing away the therapist because she was not driving the conversation to Lindiwe’s desired destination… get these two back together. “It’s what I’m paying you to do.”

When that didn’t work as well as hoped, things started getting even nastier. With Andile’s Depression kicking back in, she was now more determined than ever to use her power to get the couple back together.

Imagine, for a second, your mother pulling gangster moves to get you back with the ex who is trying to move on with someone else?

On one hand, we’d want our mom to stop embarrassing us by being so overbearing. Especially if she wasn’t so accepting of our sexual orientation at first. But on the other, argh we all need a mother who can fiercely get these boys back in line like that.

Next in her schemes was digging up some dirt on Mondli. If she found skeletons, she’d use them to show Njabulo the light… by fire. And that she did.

Turns out our sexy hunk had dabbled in some serious fraud in the past. With this information at Lindiwe’s disposal, she was able to drive a wedge between Mondli and Njabulo, getting them to attempt to flee all the drama that has been haunting them since moving back to Mzansi from Argentina.

BUT! Again, that was not Lindiwe’s intention. So, the next plot would be the darkest. With the help of her team, she succeeded in framing him as having stolen diamonds at the mine and pressed criminal charges against him.

Just like that, she ended him. ENDED. He came begging for mercy and promised he would leave town without Njabulo.

Do you think she went too far? Would you be okay with your mother doing the absolute most to get you and your ex back together? Chat back in the comments below.

The Shocking Fallout of Black Motion

Tensions have reportedly escalated.

They are one of South Africa’s most revered music duos.

Their discography packs both blockbuster club bangers and lush delights for lovers of House with a transcendental African sonic flair. And the explosive fallout of Black Motion, which has been splashed across the internet long before reaching the courts, has shocked many.

Loved for their electrifying live performances and awe-inspiring chemistry, Mörda and Smol have always seemed like musical soulmates. But that relationship seems to have reached a bitter end.

In 2022, rumours of their reported split triggered a frenzy on the internet. Following the uproar, the group’s members Bongani Mohosana, who now goes as Mörda, and Smol (real name Roy Thabo Mabogwane), jointly calmed fears that they had fallen out.

It had been said the break would be temporary, as Mörda moved to focus on the release of his solo studio album.

Far from it, it now seems. The parties have escalated things to court.

According to reports, Black Motions have confirmed that they had pressed charges against Mörda for alleged housebreaking and theft.

A court order by the High Court in Gauteng posted on social media has ordered Morda to “restore possession of a recording studio apparatus” to the group by 13 January, at 5pm.

Black Motion shared snaps of the alleged damage caused by Morda – a broken door and stolen equipment.

It looks like we won’t be getting a new Black Motion album with Mörda anytime soon.
