Audiences can expect engaging content from the star and most importantly learn more about their interests, be it wine or acting – through Mokoena’s the eyes & viewpoints.

Nero TV invites wine curios, wine connoisseurs and lovers of wine to join in on conversations that not only educate consumers about what makes a great wine but also introduce viewers to some of the best wines available in South Africa.

The show is set to delight consumers by not only sharing Mokoena’s journey as a winemaker through his dark grape brand Nero, but also broaden the conversation by including other wine makers and brands, so consumers are fully immersed in the rich story of local and international wines.

“The world of wine can come across as very daunting for most people, and working with the Bosman Family Vineyards to produce Nero grape has taught me so much about the industry as well as the process of winemaking and this inspired the idea to create a platform that educates and shares some of the knowledge I have gained along the way,” said Thapelo Mokoena.

“One can look forward to digital wine tastings, food pairings, wine reviews, wine eventing, wine myth-busting, distribution and so much more! Nero TV will also introduce you to the benefits of being a member of the Nero Club, which offers endless specials to its loyal consumers and membership base, all the way to getting wine delivered right to your doorstep.”

In addition to this platform, Thapelo Mokoena will also be introducing a new offering called The Artist Corner aimed at existing and aspiring Actors and Actresses.

As part of this offering Thapelo will be talking to you from his home studio & sharing his insights while bringing industry experts, on occasion, to share some industry experiences and insights in a bid to equip those on the come up and those in the game with tools that will enable growth in their Artistic journeys.

“As an artist you receive so many requests for shadowing and mentorship, but it is impossible to sit with everyone across the table and mentor them so we have used the power of technology to democratize success in the entertainment industry by opening up this world, so that artists are able to learn fundamental aspects of the acting and film-making from renowned industry heavy-weights they are inspired by and look up to,” said Thapelo Mokoena.

Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or a budding entertainer you can now make a date with Thapelo Mokoena as he shares his two worlds through these immersive channels offering ongoing storytelling and industry insights, together with tips and tasting notes on picking the best bottle of wine for any occasion.

The Shocking Fallout of Black Motion

Tensions have reportedly escalated.

They are one of South Africa’s most revered music duos.

Their discography packs both blockbuster club bangers and lush delights for lovers of House with a transcendental African sonic flair. And the explosive fallout of Black Motion, which has been splashed across the internet long before reaching the courts, has shocked many.

Loved for their electrifying live performances and awe-inspiring chemistry, Mörda and Smol have always seemed like musical soulmates. But that relationship seems to have reached a bitter end.

In 2022, rumours of their reported split triggered a frenzy on the internet. Following the uproar, the group’s members Bongani Mohosana, who now goes as Mörda, and Smol (real name Roy Thabo Mabogwane), jointly calmed fears that they had fallen out.

It had been said the break would be temporary, as Mörda moved to focus on the release of his solo studio album.

Far from it, it now seems. The parties have escalated things to court.

According to reports, Black Motions have confirmed that they had pressed charges against Mörda for alleged housebreaking and theft.

A court order by the High Court in Gauteng posted on social media has ordered Morda to “restore possession of a recording studio apparatus” to the group by 13 January, at 5pm.

Black Motion shared snaps of the alleged damage caused by Morda – a broken door and stolen equipment.

It looks like we won’t be getting a new Black Motion album with Mörda anytime soon.
