Friday, January 17th marks the premiere of supernatural feature, The Grudge.

The horror flick, which stars amongst others Andrea Riseborough, Demián Bichir, John Cho and Betty Gilpin, is the fourth instalment in the American The Grudge film series.

The movie distills the spine chilling journey of a detective who investigates a mysterious case involving several murders which appear to be connected to a single house.

What starts with a young mother murdering her family in her house ends with a terrifying fate of the house being haunted, subjecting multiple people to terror and gory deaths. As it turns out, the house is haunted by a vengeful ghost.

While trying to solve the case, the detective also becomes the target of demonic spirits, from whom she must do whatever it takes to protect herself and her family

After a young mother murders her family in her own house, a detective attempts to investigate the mysterious case, only to discover that the house is cursed by a vengeful ghost. Now targeted by the demonic spirits, the detective must do anything to protect herself and her family from harm.
