Bonang Matheba continues on her winning streak. The 31 year old media personality finally gave her highly anticipated range of Methode Cap Classique (MCC) the sparkling treatment we’ve come to know from her. And true to her reputation, Matheba becomes the first black woman to boast this feat.
It showed on Monday when she looked triumphant in a burgundy plunging gown at her exclusive launch party. The shindig, which was attended by a considerable celebrity electorate, came days after Queen B first announced that her very own ‘champagne’, would be hitting the shelves within the month.
A glammed up troop of South Africa’s most recognisable faces was assembled to celebrate the unveiling House of BNG.
The A-lister guest list included Somizi, whose appearance thrilled fans and triggered a social trend as fans could not revelling the plot twist. The two once inseparable buddies seemed to have put behind their long history of feuding behind, choosing instead to laugh it all in front of photographers.
We can’t stop but wonder if these scenes will make it on a potential crossover episode of Bonang’s Being Bonang, or Somizi‘s Living The Dream? After all, Legend Manqele, the executive producer for both shows, couldn’t stop gushing about the iconic reunion of Mzansi’s most loved celebrity chomies.
The House of BNG launch comes just days after Bonang debuted her new Cosmopolitan cover.
Mo’ge embraces her well publicised love for the pink hue, as she dons a cute pink number for the ‘Boss, Babe’ issue. It also took place not long after the people’s returned from her stay in New York, where she’s said to have been filming her looming reality show – Bonang, Coming to America.
The House of BNG will be available exclusively at Woolies and online for a while, before being sent to other retailers. Both bottles of Brut and Brut Rose (750 ML) will cost you as… little as R399.00 each.
