“I want Leading Citizens to help young people thinking about starting their own businesses to learn from those who have come before them, in the comfort of their own homes,” said Zama Ngcobo, Presenter and Executive Producer of Leading Citizens.”

Zama Ngcobo herself has a lot to share about navigating the tough and male-dominated media industry from the bottom. Having been a familiar voice on radio and a recognizable face on TV for more than ten years, she aims to bring her understanding of the media as a powerful catalyst of influence to shift thinking and inspire a new energy of hope.

Says Zama; “Recent research shows that millennials take seriously the business programmes on their television screens, and one in four of them does consider starting a business after watching one. So, I want to bring accomplished and eminent business people to talk about practical things they have done to achieve their goals to plant the seeds of success in our national young minds. If people are going to watch television, I want them to learn from it too.”
