He became the first South African rapper to sell out the Dome Stadium last year.
But just months after boasting that historical feat, it seems Cassper Nyovest meant it when he said that was just the beginning.
And after months of promising fans that he would be going even bigger with a concert at Orlando Stadium in Soweto, the rapper officially announced on Friday that indeed he will be taking on the 40 000 capacity venue on the 28th of October! Tickets are available for purchase at Computicket.
“That time again!”, Nyovest tweeted to his 595 000 followers. “I know ya’ll ready! Tickets out now at Computicket! Let’s go!!.”
With this announcement, the 25 year old will be aiming to break his own record as the first South African to sell out the Dome. After much fanfare and doubt last year, the Tsibip star was able to sell out the 20 000 capacity Dome in Johannesburg.
Meanwhile, Cassper is busying himself with a national Refiloe tour. Tagging alongside the MCs from his record label Family Tree.
The rapper is also expected to release the live DVD of his performance at the Dome to entice those who have never experienced his shows to come and have a great time.
Will you be going?
