K2

K2 has probably forged the most noteworthy musical career amongst all the former housemates so far. The Lepara rapper has garnered himself a steady following which has, amongst other things, kept him relevant.

MBALI NKOSI

Mbali Nkosi has become a household name since being evicted from the house. The 27 year old has gone to present the All Access TV show on Mzansi Magic alongside Nomzamo Mbatha and Anga Makubalo. All of that came after she frequented the news anchor desk at ANN7. Elsewhere, she gave music the essential try with a single called ‘S.M.A.T. Rain’. While many feel that the single really doesn’t deserve a sequel, there’s no denying Mbali is on a triumphant roll.

BLUE MBOMBO

Blue is a cast member of popular Mzansi Magic reality television show Diski Divas. The show chronicles the lives of spouses, girlfriends and exes of South African soccer players. Blue was voted the Sexiest Women in South Africa in 2016 by Sowetan readers, and was recently announced as the face of a beauty product called Reviv.

LEXI

Lexi has been a constant fixture in the press, in part due to her larger than life character and her trendy clap backs on Twitter. But that is not the only thing she has been up to. Lexi stars on her reality show alongside her boyfriend, Big Brother season 2 winner Mandla Hlatshwayo.

MANDLA

Mandla won himself a nifty R1 million from the show’s second season, after leading the most controversial season yet. But he wasn’t about to let that dry up. The reality show star has since ventured into other things – like being a host on the Pls Call Me programme, star in his own reality show Mandla & Lexi as well as start up his own tuck shop. Smart guy.

EX

While many of his counterparts mentioned in this list seem to have taken the reality TV path further after their stay in the house, Ex turned his full attention to his music career.

NTOMBI

Ntombi followed her co-win with a media career that brought us a season of Ntombi & Ace and a song, Qabashwe, after that. Unfortunately she has recently gone under the radar, especially after she and Ace were busted shifting some illegal drugs last year.

ACE

Well Ace and Ntombi are an item, so everything that applies to her also applies to him. Reality show, the Qabashwe song and then the drug thing.
