Indeed, seeing local celebrities paint their timelines with all kinds of colours and prints for Heritage Day throughout Thursday was a refreshing sight. And we, being very vigilant in following the lives of those who make lots of money from looking like themselves, were rather overly excited to find out who decided to wear what as part of taking it back to the roots and celebrating their heritage. Dubbed by many as the ‘Zulu princess’, the Tell Me Sweet Something actress has proven many a time that she loves being an African woman. The actress, who stars on Isibaya and Umlilo, is also the lead actress on local romantic comedy Tell Me Something. There, she stars alongside the likes of Maps Maponyane as a disillusioned writer who must reconcile her rocky romantic history with potential for new love.
