He recently executed showcased pieces from his ‘More Is More’ collection during an introduction of his signature brand to the Parisian fashion elite.
And now South Africa’s leading Fashion Designer David Tlale has launched a swanky pocket square, designed exclusively for Courvoisier’s limited edition VSOP gift pack.
Tlale first envisioned the accessory, in time for the looming Holiday season, while experiencing the Golden Age tour of Paris alongside Bonang Matheba, who also launched her autobiography From A To B. The two got to enjoy a personal bottling experience in the Courvoisier cellar with master distiller Patrice Pinet.

Explaining what inspired the square pocket, David says the idea mushroomed from stunning architecture.
“The pocket square was inspired by the Towers’ unique wrought iron latticework which exudes luxury, timelessness and very iconic artwork”, he says.
Adding, “A pocket square is the ultimate form of sophistication and a key fashion accessory for gentlemen who take pride in their appearance. It has been synonymous with royalty and aristocracy for centuries, as has Courvoisier.”
With each limited edition box set purchased, Courvoisier connoisseurs have a chance to win an exclusive, custom-designed garment by David Tlale himself to the value of R10 000.
The David Tlale Limited edition Courvoisier VSOP gift pack is available nationwide for a limited time only at Makro, Pick ‘n Pay, Shoprite, Game, Ultra, Liberty Liquors, Norman Goodfellows and selected Tops stores. For information on competition details visit www.davidtlale.com
