He’s gotten himself in a bit of a predicament before for taking to the socials to flaunt his physique in a questionable green Hulk costume, which we loved. But this time former Bafana Bafana captain Itumeleng Khune’s tweets have gotten him in serious trouble.
The celebrated Kaizer Chiefs goal keeper has just 5 days by the Premier Soccer League to explain a series of tweets he posted last week during a game between Kaizer Chiefs and Amazulu at Orlando Stadium. Khune was given red carded marching orders on the 83rd minute of the game that took place on the 9th of April.
In the impassioned tweets, Khune urges all to be vigilant on the “poor referees” who have, he continued in the scathing rant, “been poor since the beginning.”
And that’s a long time to be poor.
