They say when one door closes, another opens. In this case, Gareth Cliff’s online based radio station Cliff Central opened its doors for Sbusiso ‘Dj Sbu’ Leope, who was recently given marching orders by Metro FM for advertising his energy drink ‘Mo Faya’ live at the Metro FM Music Awards without permission last month. As of today though, all that drama is water under the bridge for the outspoken wordsmith. He was confirmed via the station’s website as the newest addition to the pioneering station’s line up switch up. Unable to contain his joy, he tweeted the news to his fans earlier in the day.
“He’s unscripted, uncensored and brings the fire – join us… as we usher in a new chapter by bringing on musician and media personality, DJ Sbu, onto our line-up”, boasted the station in a statement.
The new show is slotted on Thursdays between 9 am and 10 am, giving the entrepreneur enough time to focus on other things.
